As a centre that values inclusion
and diversity, we welcome members of our community of
all backgrounds and abilities, to serve as volunteers.
This includes seniors, recent immigrants
and high school students seeking to complete their community
service hours. We recognize
that volunteers often have specific goals and are happy
to try and offer roles that match your
skills and interests.
THERE
ARE MANY WAYS IN WHICH YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE!
There are many ways in which
volunteers make a positive difference at BBNC. Some
volunteers
work directly with people such as preschool children
or seniors, assisting with activities that
enrich the lives of program participants. Others provide
valuable clerical or fundraising support,
help out at community events or provide direction for
the agency as Board or committee members. To accommodate
the diverse lifestyles and needs of our volunteers,
we offer short-term, long term and special event opportunities.

HERE’S HOW TO JOIN OUR
TEAM:
1. Complete a volunteer application
and hand in at reception or mail to our address. Volunteer applications are available HERE and Board member application form are available HERE.
2. A BBNC staff member will call you regarding your
application
3. Individual interview
4. References checked
6. Volunteers are matched with assignment
7. Start volunteering!
