Refund Policy
BBNC does not issue refunds, Instead, credit vouchers will be issued. Participants must request a credit before the third (3rd) class of the program session. Programs of less than 8 weeks require 3 days notification prior to the first class to obtain a credit. A $10 processing fee will be deducted.
Upon request, unused credit vouchers may be turned in for a refund if they are unused for more than 6 months. NSF cheques are subject to a $20 surcharge.
Cancellations
From time to time, due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather or instructor illness, a class may be cancelled. In such cases a make-up class will be scheduled, usually on the same day of the week, during the week following the end of regular program session. Credits will not be issued when a make-up class can be scheduled. BBNC reserves the right to cancel classes. BBNC reserves the right to cancel a participant’s enrollment in a program, if that participant is absent for 3 or more classes in a row. BBNC may then offer the spot to someone from the wait list.
Program Subsidies
The Birchmount Bluffs Neighbourhood Centre does not want to see anyone denied access to our programs because of financial barriers. We have program subsidies available for people who cannot afford program fees. Program subsidy application forms are available at the front desk. Ask our staff for more information.
