Children's Programs

In partnership with West Scarborough Neighbourhood Centre, we also offer a Boys and Girls Club.  Its social, recreational and educational activities emphasize fair play and leadership.


Programs Include:

Karate

We offer two levels: Beginner and Advanced.  Develop karate skills with instruction by qualified instructors.  Learn self-defence techniques, develop self-discipline and build self-confidence.  For ages 6 and up.  Family Membership Required!

Enrollment is for 3 months at a time.  Classes are held twice a week, every Tuesday and Thursday.


Youth Café

Calling all Youth!  BBNC is proud to present the grand opening of the YOUTH CAFÉ!  We will be providing an area to eat, study and socialize in a safe and friendly environment.  Bring a lunch and come meet new people, participate in activities and learn about what BBNC has to offer.

When? Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11:45am to 12:45pm, beginning January 21
Where? In the Studio at BBNC (93 Birchmount Road)

West Scarborough Boys & Girls Club

The Boys and Girls Club runs from Monday to Friday, from 3:30pm to 6:30pm.  There are two sessions to sign up for:

  • Session 1: September to January
  • Session 2: February to June

Activities include:

  • Homework Club
  • Swimming Specialty Programs
  • Tracking (fee)
  • Sports & Activities Snack Program
  • P.A. Day; March Break and Summer Camps
